How is a sports exhaust system constructed?

With a few exceptions, a sports exhaust and conventional exhaust systems are always constructed in the same way. The exhaust gas leaves the cylinder head via the manifold toward the downpipe. Once there, it flows through the catalytic converter, which is responsible for reducing pollutant emissions from the combustion engine's exhaust gases.
